El Calafate: trip to the threatened? Patagonian Ice - By Laureano Debat - National Geographic

The Patagonian steppe runs arid with snow-capped mountains in the background. Guanacos, Andean condors and foxes live here. The calafate fruit is also born wild, sweet and red, similar to cranberry, good for ice cream, jams and liqueurs. And the omnipresent Lake Argentino reigns, which, technically, belongs to the glaciers, because it is formed with water from melting ice and thus manages to be distributed in multiple channels. Note in Condé Nast Traveler magazine

"To explore views that will last a lifetime in your memory, it is worth opting for All Glaciers sailing, and in particular being part of the Captain's Club. The benefits of such a personalized activity begin with a differential queue that has us seated quickly in a room with comfortable seats for the journey; accompanied by a guide, exclusive balconies to fall in love with the charm of the glaciers, and the captain himself, José, steering the boat alongside us." Complete note by clicking here.

Note on Río Negro portal

"In Santa Cruz, the Upsala glacier, a large glacier that covers a compound valley, fed in turn by several glaciers, and the Spegazzini glacier, one of the most impressive in the Los Glaciares National Park, make up a wonder worth appreciating that are "A treat for the eyes. The masses of ice are immense, exceeding the wingspan of the boat by three or four times, and their color constantly changes before the curious gaze of travelers." Complete note by clicking here.
