SPEGAZZINI BASE

The base is located in a geographical place that offers a perfect view of the majesty of the Spegazzini Glacier, the Heim Glacier, the Peineta Glacier and the entire bay, with its lake horizon and surrounding solemn mountains. Contemplating this incredible landscape is magnificent. It provides the feeling of accomplishment that every traveler seeks when embarking on an adventure. The Spegazzini Base has a path designed for visitors to walk through the Bahía de Los Glaciares. The forest path runs three hundred meters from the landing point to the Spegazzini Refuge, where you can rest, have lunch and enjoy the magic of the moment. On the walk, you will be able to visit different thematic stations (Glaciology - History - Fauna and Flora) and you will have access to viewpoints with landscapes that you will never forget.

The trail is accessible and does not present complexity, since it is carried out on firm ground. Once at the Spegazzini Refuge, you will be able to enjoy the regional gastronomy, the shop and an incredible panoramic view, both from its rooms and from the outside (Deck & Terrace).
