VIEDMA ADVENTURE

A unique experience on the Viedma Glacier

The journey begins at Puerto Bahía Túnel, located just 18 km from the city of El Chaltén, Argentina's trekking capital. From there, we embark on a boat that navigates the turquoise waters of Lake Viedma. The initial journey takes us south along the bay, following the coast and allowing us to admire the imposing silhouette of the Huemul Massif, one of the region's most emblematic mountains.

After approximately 40 minutes of sailing, we will arrive at Cape Horn Bay, where we will disembark for a low-difficulty trek. The trail leads us to a panoramic point on the Cape Horn Peninsula, from where an unforgettable setting unfolds: the magical Iceberg Bay, with its drifting ice floes and the backdrop of the Andes Mountains.

After enjoying this unique landscape, we'll re-embark for the most anticipated moment of the excursion: our approach to the front of the Viedma Glacier. From the deck, we'll appreciate the full magnitude of the immense wall of ice, with its blue hues and changing textures, while the guide explains the history and formation of this ancient glacier, the largest in Argentina.

Finally, we'll begin our return to the port, carrying with us the excitement of having lived an authentic experience in the heart of Patagonia, where adventure meets the contemplation of majestic and unforgettable landscapes.
